Most of the pieces I color, I do because I have a connection with the material. And Vagrant Story is no exception. It was an amazing game from back during the Golden Age of PSX RPG’s. There are a few technical flaws I know, but I didn’t end up fixing them because a) it didn’t fit with the context of the piece, or b) because I’m anal retentive, and I had to make myself finish it or it would never be done. A cool little trick I picked up when messing with the flames was (only temporarily) rendering them in 32bits per channel… very useful for strong light sources. Obviously I didn’t work the whole piece in this mode though. But its always an interesting technique for “finalizing” a piece. Anyway, be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think
